GIG DATES ANNOUNCED

It's been a long time between gigs, as they say, but finally, after much consternation from fans and the media, Alien-eX are finally playing their first gig of 2022. They will perform at The Plough Inn on Friday, 23 September at 8:30PM. Come on down and support the band and bring a friend or two, but especially, have your dancing shoes on and get a sweat going.
WORKING ON SONGS FOR NEW SET

Alien-eX are currently in the rehearsal studio working on some classic covers which will be launched at the next gig in September.
Tracks include, Heroes by David Bowie (the MotorHead version), Love Song by Simple Minds, SleepWalk by Ultravox, and an original titled, 'Time Nomads'.

How many synths/keyboards can you have? That all depends on whether you have an obsession with technology, and you have a love affair with them.
Luis, the synth player in Alien-eX is always updating with new technology, i.e. analog and digital synths, VSTi soft synths, DAWs, and just general equipment which will allow for a bigger and more impressive sound.
ARE THE 80'S REALLY DEAD?

How many of these bands do you remember? Duran Duran, Simple Minds, Flock of Seagulls, King, Human League, Ultravox, etc. etc. If you can't that's OK because Alien-eX are revitalising the 80s synth pop sound. So if you're an 80s child and want to dance to a live performance from a local band doing cover versions of the classic 80s songs i.e. Planet Earth, SleepWalk, Heroes, I Feel Love, and Hungry Like the Wolf, then come on down to our next gig and remember to bring your dancing shoes (and maybe some Deep Heat for afterwards).
VIDEO AND RECORDING PROJECT

Alien-eX would like to announce the completion of their recording/video project which had them in the studio recording several tracks and also filming a music video. This was managed by local TAFE audio engineering and film students. This collaboration will produce an amazing output and should be on all social media platforms by August 2022, with a launch party of their new video, 'Space Walk' in September 2022. Stay tuned!
